Chris has operated her State Farm Insurance business in Rock Island since 1988. She is a 1980 Augustana College Graduate majoring in medical technology. Chris lives in Rock Island with her husband Rick Jewell and she has 2 daughters Jillian Harms and Julianna Jespersen. She is active in her community and has a strong desire to make Rock Island a better place to live and work! Chris understands the importance of getting involved in making a difference. Chris is a member of Kiwanis joining 2001 and is a past President and is currently an advisor of the Kiwanis Aktion Club which is a service group for adults with disabilities. She has been on the steering committee for Rock Island/Milan First Day Fund for many years and served on Parent Teacher Associations in the Rock Island School District for 14 years and other school planning committees. She is a member of St Pius X Parrish and the Father Bader Scholarship Committee. Chris is currently the treasurer of the University of Illinois Rock Island County Extension and 4-H Foundation and a member of the Rock Island/Milan Education Foundation. Chris recently became a Trustee on the Friendship Manor Board.

Diana is a 5th generation Rock Islander who has lived in Rock Island for 65 years and is a graduate of Alleman High School. I have been married to Jack for almost 50 years and we have 2 children who both graduated from Rock Island High School. I worked at the Home Office of Modern Woodmen of America in Rock Island, took time off to raise my children and then returned and retired after almost 30 years of cumulative service. I also previously served as a member and Chairperson for the Rock Island Beautification Commission.

Jonah Sallows-Hines began serving as a Trustee for South Rock Island Township in May 2025. A U.S. Navy veteran who served in both Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), Jonah brings a deep commitment to service and community. He works at Elliott Aviation and is dedicated to transparency, fiscal responsibility, and ensuring residents' voices are heard. Jonah lives in the township with his wife, Joanna, and their daughter, Cecelia. He is honored to serve South Rock Island Township and looks forward to helping it grow and thrive.

Bill is a lifelong resident of Rock Island. He is a graduate of Rock Island Senior High School & Western Illinois University and is now married, 2 children and 4 Grandchildren Bill use to Coached Youth Basketball and Flag football teams and is a retired Lieutenant with 30+ years on the Rock Island Police Dept. & retired from Rock Island County Court Services. Presently, he is on the Board of Directors Rock Island Labor Day Parade Committee and Rock Island Clean & Beautiful. In the past was part of the Board of Directors Community Caring Conference, Executive Board Member Rock Island Police Benevolent Association and presently a retired volunteer for the Association. He has also served on State Board and former President Policemen's Benevolent & Protection Association of Illinois, was Rock Island Employee & Citizen of the Year 1991, recognized by Illinois Governor's Committee on Crime Prevention, United Way, Rotary, and Jaycees for his police work, 1994 Certificate of Accommodation from President Bill Clinton for his commitment to safety and dedication to his community in Law Enforcement.
